Professor Zhongwen Xie is a Wangjiang Scholar and a Doctoral Supervisor in the School of Tea and Food Science and Technology at Anhui Agricultural University. He received a bachelor's degree from East China Normal University in 1986 and a PhD from the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1999. Previously, he was a Post-Doctoral Fellow and Senior Scientist at the University of Kentucky in the United States. Currently, he serves as an executive member of the National Council of Food Nutrition and Health.
