Qing Shen obtained her PhD from the University of Tokyo in 1995. Subsequently, she joined the University of Electro-Communications (UEC). Currently, she is a professor of UEC. Her main topics of research interest are nanomaterials and their applications in optoelectronic and thermoelectric devices, time-resolved laser spectroscopy techniques, and photoexcited carrier dynamics (electron transfer as well as charge separation and recombination) in quantum dot solar cells, perovskite solar cells, and organic–inorganic hybrid solar cells.
