Corrine K Hanson is a Professor of Nutrition and the Executive Director of the Medical Nutrition program at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She received a bachelor’s degree in Human Nutrition from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1989, a master’s of Human Nutrition in 1993, and her PhD from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2010. She is a Fellow of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She was named a UNMC Distinguished Scientist in 2019. She won the 2011 Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Huddleson Award. She was the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Allied Health Professions' “Excellence in Research” award recipient.
