Dr. SUBBIAH NAGARAJAN

Dr Nagarajan is working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry, National Institute of Technology, Warangal, Telangana. His current research areas include synthetic organic chemistry, molecular self-assembly, gels, functional organic materials, carbohydrate chemistry, and sustainable chemistry. He has published more than 65 research papers in various international journals, including Progress in Polymer Science, Nature-Scientific Reports, Journal of Biological Chemistry, Chemical Communications, Green Chemistry, ACS Applied Materials and Interfaces, ACS Sustainable Chemistry and Engineering, Journal of Materials Chemistry, Carbohydrate Research, with a cumulative impact factor of around 300. He has Indian and international patents on his credit. He has received several International/National recognition/awards/prizes, including the NSF Postdoctoral Research Fellowship from the USA, INSPIRE faculty award from DST, India, Young Scientist Research Award from BRNS, CANARA Bank Medal for securing first rank in M.Sc., excellent grade recognition in DST INSPIRE faculty meet-2017, etc. He is a member of the Indian National Young Academy of Science, INSA, Govt. of India. He received research projects from various funding agencies, such as DST, SERB, DAE-BRNS, and MHRD. His work was highlighted in scientific blogs. He has delivered several invited scientific lectures in various National/International Symposium/Conferences/refresher courses and on other occasions.
