Prof. Dr. Chen Wang is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the College of Horticulture of Nanjing Agricultural University. She is also the Director of the Jiangyin Branch of Nanjing Agricultural University Technology Transfer Center, Deputy Secretary-General of the Jiangsu Grape Association, Member of the Jiangsu Cell and Developmental Biology Society, and Deputy Secretary-General of Pomegranate Branch of the Chinese Horticultural Society. She received her PhD in Pomology from Nanjing Agricultural University (2012). From January 2013 to November 2014, she worked as a postdoctoral fellow in Pomology at the School of Life Sciences, Nanjing Agricultural University, and from December 2014 to December 2015, she worked as a postdoctoral fellow in Pomology at Volcanic Center, ARO, Israel. She studies grapes, strawberries, and pomegranates, mainly in the fields of molecular biology, genomics, epigenetics, signal transduction, cultivation physiology, and quality regulation.
