Michele Iervolino is an associate professor at the Department of Engineering, University of Campania "L. Vanvitelli". He completed his PhD studies at the University of Napoli "Federico II". He recently has been an associate investigator of the STREAM project. He has published about 50 papers in various journals and serves as an associate editor, editor, and reviewer for several international journals. His teaching disciplines include hydraulics and environmental hydraulics, and his/her interests include fluvial hydraulics, sediment transport, unsteady open channel flows, free-surface instabilities, non-Newtonian fluids, and water distribution networks.
