Stefania Serafin received her Ph.D. in Computer Based Music Theory and Acoustics (Music) from Stanford University (Stanford, CA, USA) in 2004. She has been a Professor of the Multisensory Experience Lab, Department of Architecture, Design and Media Technology, Aalborg University (Copenhagen SV, Denmark) since 2012. Her research interests mainly include sonic interaction design; sound for virtual and augmented reality; audio-haptic interaction; sound synthesis by physical models; multimodal interfaces; multimodal perception and cognition; and virtual and augmented reality.
