Teik-Cheng Lim won a Faculty of Engineering Annual Book Prize for his undergraduate studies at the National University of Singapore (NUS) and was subsequently awarded an NUS Research Scholarship to pursue his Ph.D. at the same university. Upon earning his doctorate, Teik-Cheng continued as a staff member of NUS before joining SIM University (UniSIM), which was later renamed the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS). He is currently Head of the Ph.D. (Engineering) program at SUSS.
