Biography

My research activities are centered around renewable/green energy and circular economy. I am especially interested in biofuels or bioenergy production. Research focuses on developing an integral, sustainable, and renewable energy for the production of Biofuel (Biodiesel, Bioethanol, Hydrogen, Methanol) from organic feedstock and biomass that are richly available on earth, with less impact on the environment. I have research on the evaluation of PM2.5 emissions from gasoline fueled vehicles. Furthermore, I am interested in bioresources utilization and the application of biorefinery concept for promotion of circular economy. My research activities involve the extraction of butanol and valuable chemicals from Scenedesmus using genetically engineered strains. Currently, I am interested in life cycle assessment (LCA) and the techno-economic analysis of biofuels production.
