Dr. Jaffar Abbas

Dr. Jaffar Abbas is a researcher at the School of Media and Communication (SMC) of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China. Dr. Abbas has a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from Quaid-I-Azam University Islamabad, Pakistan, and a Ph.D. from Antai College of Economics and Management (ACEM), Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China. From 2005 to 2008, he served as a Country Manager NOKIA Project with the IML Group M.E. for the Middle East, and later he joined the National Bank of Pakistan’s Mutual Funds (NBP Funds) as Assistant Vice President from 2008 to 2011. His research interests include business communication, tourism, public health, social networking, social media marketing, corporate social responsibility (CSR), brand image, sustainability and education development, social inequalities, social justice, and HR management.
