Dr. Lisa R Hirschhorn is a Professor in the Department of Medical Social Sciences and Director of the Ryan Family Center for global Primary Care at the Havey Institute for Global Health of the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. Trained as an infectious disease physician, she focuses her research on improving quality and coverage through implementation research in primary care, HIV, maternal child health, and non-communicable disease in resource-limited settings, as well as building research capacity. Her research keywords include quality of care and implementation research.
