Maria Giné-Garriga is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Psychology, Education and Sport Sciences (FPCEE) and the Faculty of Health Sciences Blanquerna - Ramon Llull University. She completed predoctoral training at the University of Pittsburgh-School of Public Health and Hope University of Liverpool and a two-year Marie Sklodowska-Curie Action (MSCA) postdoctoral fellowship at Glasgow Caledonian University. She is a recipient of an ICREA Academia Research award 2023- 2028 and a PI of the Health, Physical Activity and Sport Research Group of the FPCEE. She is the co-chair of the Aging Special Interest Group and the #Dare2Share committee of the ISBNPA and an Expert of the Research Executive Agency of the EC.
