Dr. Feng Liu-Smith is an associate professor of epidemiology at the School of Medicine. She received her Ph.D. in genetics from Iowa State University in 2002 and later earned her M.S. in epidemiology from the University of California, Irvine, in 2016. Her research focuses on cancer epidemiology and biology, with particular emphasis on melanoma drug resistance, melanoma risk factors, and gender differences/disparities in cancer.
