Paulina Wong is currently an Assistant Professor in the Science Unit at Lingnan University. She has many years of industrial and academic research experience in New Zealand and Hong Kong, mainly on ecological and practical applications of Geographical Information Systems (GIS). She is a certified GIS Professional. Her areas of specialization include air pollution, urban climate, GIS modeling, and environmental health. Her current research interests concern environmental impact assessments with particular reference to health-related problems in Hong Kong. In recent years, her research has been extended to urban sensing, mobile geospatial technologies, education for sustainability, and smart city development.
