Prof. Dr. Weimin Yang is a teacher at the Beijing
University of Chemical Technology and serves as the Director of the
International Exchange and Cooperation Department. He studied for a Ph.D. degree
at the Beijing University of Chemical Technology in 1998. After obtaining the
Ph.D. degree, he entered the University of Tokyo, Japan for Postdoctoral
research from 2000 to 2002. In addition, he also serves as an expert at the
National Rubber and Plastic Technology Center, an expert at the China Plastics
Processing Industry Association, vice chairman of the China Rotational Plastic
Processing Association, a member of the China Chemical Society, and an
editorial board member of China Chemical Equipment, etc. He has won the third
prize for scientific and technological progress from the Ministry of Chemical
Industry and the third Beijing Youth Excellent Paper Award. His main research
area is CAD/CAE/CAM for polymer material forming and processing; Polymer
material injection molding; New methods for blending and modifying polymer
materials, as well as processing principles for rubber polymer products and
elastic shock absorbing components.
