Nada El Darra graduated from Saint-Joseph University with B.Sc. in Life and Earth Sciences (2007), M.Sc. in Food Chemistry with honors (2009), and Ph.D. in Food Chemistry (2013). She obtained a certificate entitled “ISO 22000:2005” Food safety management System Lead Auditor from RABQSA in 2013. She is currently an Associate Professor of Food Safety and Technology at the Faculty of Health Sciences, Beirut Arab University, Lebanon. She also serves as a member in the food safety committee of the Ministry of Public Health and as a member of the Arab German Young Academy for Sciences and humanities. Her research interests include Food Technology and Food Safety.
