Dr. Qinfeng Guo joined the Eastern Threat Center in 2006 as a research ecologist. He received a Ph.D. in biology (ecology) from the University of New Mexico in 1994 and was a postdoctoral fellow at UCLA from 1995 to 1997. He worked at the University of Arizona (Ike Russell Fellow) and the University of Tokyo (NSF-JSPS International Fellow) before joining the U.S. Geological Survey in 2001. His research interests include community ecology, macroecology, biodiversity, biological invasions, community/ecosystem self-organization, and biogeography.
