Prof. Dr. Michelina Catauro currently serves as a full professor at the Department of Engineering, University of Campania “Luigi Vanvitelli". She enrolled at the University of Naples “Federico II” at the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics, and Natural Sciences for a study course in Chemistry in 1984. She was awarded an Erasmus Program Scholarship for the academic year 1989/1990. In 1991, she graduated with honors from the University of Naples “Federico II”. She was awarded another scholarship sponsored by the University of East Anglia’s School of Chemical Sciences in Norwich, Great Britain. In 1994, she completed her Ph.D. in materials technology and industrial plants. From 1995 until 2005, she was an assistant professor of Chemistry C06X (Chimica) in the Department of Materials Engineering and Production of the University of Naples “Federico II”. After 2005, she moved to the Faculty of Engineering of the Second University of Naples, where she was appointed Associate Professor (SSD CHIM/07). Since 2019, she has been working as a Full Professor at the Department of Engineering, University of Campania “Luigi Vanvitelli".
