Prof. Anna L. Capriotti has been an associate professor in Analytical Chemistry since 2018, after having been a fixed-term researcher type B (2105-2018) and type A (2011-2015). She has been on the editorial board of the journal Analytical and Bioanalytical Chemistry since 2023, of the Journal of Essential Oil Research (Taylor and Francis Online) and Molecules (MDPI) and has been a guest editor for Analytical and Bioanalytical Chemistry (2018, Springer), Molecules (2018-, MDPI) and Chromatographia (2019, Springer). In 2018, she won the prestigious International EuCheMS Lecture Award 2017, which includes the invitation to give a plenary lecture at the 20th EuroAnalysis held in Istanbul in September 2019. Both in 2022 and 2018, she was included in the highly coveted “The Analytical Scientist Power List 2018, Top 40 Under 40” as one of the most influential young scientists in the world in analytical sciences. Other awards include the awards given by the Italian Chemical Society for the Young Researcher of the Interdivisional Group of Separation Science (2017) and the Young Researcher of the Division of Analytical Chemistry (2015). She is and has been the coordinator or responsible for units of local, national, and international research programs by research bodies and institutions such as universities, PNRR, MUR, INAIL, and the European Communities.
