João A. V. Prior received his PhD in Analytical Chemistry (2005) and his degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences (2000) from the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Porto. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the same institution and a member of the Scientific Committee of the Master’s Degree in Quality Control. He has published 39 journal articles, contributed to books, and supervised several MSc and PhD theses. His research interests include nanomedicine, nanodiagnostics, nanomaterials, quantum dots, metallic nanoparticles, sustainable chemistry, analytical chemistry, food safety, flow analysis, automation, and miniaturization of analytical methodologies.
