Prof. Dr. Donghai Li is an associate professor and doctoral supervisor in the Department of Energy and Power Engineering at Tsinghua University. His research focuses on multivariable control, nonlinear control, and the control of complex thermal systems. He has published 180 papers on control science in domestic and international journals. He has led projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation and participated in major R&D programs and industry-sponsored projects—totaling 30 initiatives—covering areas such as power system control, thermal process control, simulation systems for large-scale power plants, and the complementary and cascaded utilization of multiple energy sources. He concurrently serves as Secretary-General of the Academic Committee for the Tsinghua Colloquium, a member of the IFAC Technical Committee on Control of Dynamical Systems, Vice Chairman of the Specialized Committee on AI Simulation under the China Association for Simulation Technology, and a member of the Program Committee for ICCAS (Korea).
