Liang Chu received his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in
automotive engineering from Jilin University, Changchun, China. He is currently
a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the College of Automotive Engineering,
Jilin University. His research interests include driving and braking theory and
control technology for hybrid electric vehicles, which include powertrain and
regenerative braking control theory and technology on electric vehicles and
hybrid vehicles, the theory and technology of hydraulic antilock braking, and
stability control for passenger cars, the theory, and technology of advanced
driver assistance system, and the stability control for the commercial vehicle.
