Evan Lau is a Professor and Deputy Dean of Research and Innovation at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS). An internationally recognised scholar, he has published 120 journal articles, secured 39 research grants, and supervised 93 postgraduate students. He has also held visiting positions at the University of Cambridge and several Indonesian universities. His achievements include numerous research, service, citation, and best-paper awards. Ranked among the top economists in Malaysia, ASEAN, and Asia by RePEc, Evan remains committed to advancing research excellence, academic leadership, and sustainable scholarly impact.
