José-Víctor Rodríguez was born in Murcia, Spain, in 1975. He received his BSc degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia (UPV), Valencia, Spain, in 2001, and a Ph.D. in communications engineering from the Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena (UPCT), Cartagena, Spain, in 2006. He wrote his graduate thesis at the Lund Institute of Technology, Lund University, Lund, Sweden, in collaboration with Ericsson Mobile Communications AB. In 2002, he joined the Department of Information Technologies and Communications, UPCT, where he is currently an associate professor. His research interests include the modeling of radio wave propagation development of acoustic propagation models and obtaining biomedical algorithms through biosensors.
