Dr. Fabrizio Freni is a researcher at the University of Messina, where he teaches “Diagnostics and Vibroacoustics” in the Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He graduated in Materials Engineering and received the Ph.D in Engineering and Material Chemistry, with focus on Mechanical and Thermal measurements. His research activity is mainly related to Mechanical and Thermal measurements, Vibrations measurement, Energy harvesting, Non Destructive Testing and Evaluation, Infrared Thermography, Metrological characterization of measurement systems, Uncertainty and Statistics. Dr. Freni has authored about 30 peer-reviewed papers, with an h-index of 13 and over 500 citations.
