Sergio Ilarri is a Full Professor in the area of Computer Languages and Systems Engineering at the University of Zaragoza. He received his B.S. and his PhD in Computer Science from the University of Zaragoza in 2001 and 2006, respectively. He is currently the coordinator of the Computer Science Engineering degree at the School of Engineering and Architecture at the University of Zaragoza. He is also the coordinator of the COSMOS research group, funded by the Government of Aragon, and leads the research project NEAT-AMBIENCE, funded by the State Research Agency of Spain. His main research area is data management. His research interests include data management, mobile computing, vehicular networks, context-aware recommender systems, data streams, information systems, and data semantics.
