Bi’e Tan is a Professor of the College of Animal Science and Technology at Hunan Agricultural University. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Medicine from Hunan Agricultural University in 2001 and earned her Ph.D. in Animal Ecology and Nutrition from the Institute of Subtropical Agriculture, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2010. She was a Visiting Scholar at Texas A&M University, USA (2008–2009) and at the University of California, Davis, USA (2016–2017), and served as Assistant Researcher/Associate Researcher/Researcher at the Institute of Subtropical Agriculture, CAS (2010–2019). Her main research interests include physiological regulation of pig nutrition, feed resource development and utilization.
