Dr. Tao Sun is a Distinguished Professor at Huaqiao University. He completed his PhD in Neurobiology at University College London in 1999, and finished his postdoctoral training at Harvard Medical School . He was appointed as an Assistant and promoted to an Associate Professor at Cornell University Weill Medical College. He was recruited as the Founding Dean of the School of Medicine of Huaqiao University in 2017. He has published in Science, Cell, Nature Neuroscience, Advanced Science and Nature Reviews Neuroscience. He has been invited as a reviewer of many international journals, such as Journal of Neuroscience, Nature Neuroscience, Nature Communications, etc. He has 194 publications with 8513 citations and an h-index of 43 (Scopus, 27 October 2023).
