David Guerrero Zárate earned, from the National Technological Institute of Mexico, a PhD in Chemical Engineering (2016). He is now a Professor–Researcher of the Multidisciplnary Academic Division of Jalpa de Méndez, Juarez Autonomous University of Tabasco. He has received awards from both the National System of Researchers and the Tabasco State Researchers System. He recently led the projects “Precipitation of polystyrene diluted in limonene, applying the principle of insolublity in alcohols”, and “Design and construction of an adsorbent column packed with ceiba fiber for wastewater treatment in
aquaculture”. His teaching disciplines encompass physical chemistry, numerical methods, and process simulation, while his research interests encompass the thermodynamic properties of fluids, phase equilibria, and the development of green chemical processes.
