Gerrit de Leeuw is Professor Emiritus from the University of Helsinki and the Finnish Meteorological Institute. He joined KNMI in 2020 and is a visiting professor at RADI-CAS (Beijing), NUIST (Nanjing) and CUMT (Xuzhou), China.
