Dr. DOLORS COLOMER

Dolors Colomer is an Associate Professor at the University of Barcelona, Barcelona, Spain. She is also the Principal Investigator at Institut d’Investigacions Biomèdiques August Pi i Sunyer (IDIBAPS) and Senior Consultant at the Hematopathology Unit of Hospital Clinic Barcelona. She holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Barcelona. Her research links Biochemistry with heat shock proteins. Metastasis and circulating tumor cells are two areas of study in which she engages in interdisciplinary research. By researching both circulating tumor cells and cancer, she produces research that crosses academic boundaries.
