She is a full professor at the Faculty of Entrepreneurship, Business Engineering and Management (FEBEM), National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA of Bucharest, Romania; she has a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering, UPB, 2008 and has been a Doctor habilitat in Industrial Engineering since 2017. Scientific/technical achievements: 5 books, 4 handbooks, published scientific papers, 20 conference proceedings, and 6 article papers indexed in Clarivate Analytics, 10 articles indexed in an international database, and 16 articles published in international conference proceedings and journals; research papers as an oral presentation at over 25  international conferences; project director for 2 international and 3 national projects; team member in 8 national projects in the field of HE. Other qualifications: trained in business improvement methodologies to maximize process velocity, LEAN SIX SIGMA GREEN BELT, Lean Six Sigma Project (DMAIC / DFLSS / QUICK WIN), 2016; trained in HEInnovate methodology assessment for HEIs, by DG Education and Culture, Brussels, 2015; certified as an expert trainer by the by National Council for Adults’ Professional Education, 2010; trainer provider in project management for numerous companies, enterprises, and employees, 2010. Current research interests: business analysis; innovation and process improvement; project management processes; process design and analysis; sustainable development in higher education; standards for sustainability.
