This paper investigates the sliding-mode control (SMC) problem of Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy multiagent systems (MASs). A cooperative fuzzy-based dynamical sliding-mode (SM) controller is designed and the overall closed-loop T-S fuzzy MAS is constructed. A new model transformation method for T-S fuzzy MASs is presented to transform the fuzzy weighting matrix into a set of fuzzy weighting scalars. By applying the method of linear matrix inequality, a general stability analysis approach for T-S fuzzy MASs is proposed. Moreover, the energy-cost constraint problem is studied by using the linear quadratic regulator method. Finally, numerical examples are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed theoretical approaches and the improved performance compared to existing results.

This note is concerned with the distributed optimal control of multi-agent systems (MASs) with general linear dynamics. The cooperative tracking model consisting of multiple followers and one leader is constructed. Distributed optimal controllers are presented using the linear quadratic regulator, which guarantee the leader-following consensus of MASs and the optimization of global performance index. The global information of topology is unneeded for solutions of optimization equations. The topology graph is a general digraph, and the only requirement is that the digraph should contain a directed spanning tree. Numerical examples are finally reported to demonstrate the efficiency of presented approach.

This paper investigates the problem of distributed attitude control for spacecraft formation flying (SFF) systems based-on the Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy modeling method, where external disturbances and parameter uncertainties are considered. The spacecraft attitude dynamics is constructed as T-S fuzzy model and a modified distributed fuzzy-based H1 controller is designed. It is proven that the attitude of multi-spacecraft can synchronously reach zero by using the designed controller. Numerical examples are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed controller and comparisons with the existing results.

This article is concerned with the attitude synchronous tracking control of time-delayed multispacecraft systems. The attitude-tracking error dynamics are transformed into a modified one that can be readily constructed by the Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy approach, where a variable related to system states is treated as the equivalent disturbance. A novel fuzzy-based controller is proposed to guarantee that attitude-tracking systems of multiple spacecraft could be synchronously stabilized with H∞ performance. The presented fuzzy-based controller shows its significant advantages compared with the conventional nonlinearity compensation controller. Some improved sufficient conditions ensuring the synchronous stability with H∞ performance of large-scale multispacecraft systems are derived. Numerical examples are finally reported to illustrate the efficiency and improved performance of the presented theoretical approaches.

This article is concerned with the robust cooperative optimal control of nonlinear multiagent systems (MASs) with external disturbances and modeling uncertainties. Using the super-twisting algorithm, a continuous sliding-mode control protocol is presented for high-order nonlinear MASs with multiple inputs. The sliding-mode dynamics is modeled by the Takagi–Sugeno fuzzy approach, and the nominal control protocol that guarantees the robust optimization of the cost function is designed. Directed topologies are allowed using the presented protocol, and many assumptions about topologies are removed. Finally, three numerical examples are reported to demonstrate the effectiveness and improved performance of the presented protocol.
