Manolis Linardakis was born in Heraklion (Crete-Greece) in 1971. He is a Biostatistician, as he was studied Statistics in Department of Statistics of Athens University of Economics and Business during 1990-1995. He has been also studied in Postgraduate Programme (MSc) of Public Health & Health Services in 2003/5 and completed his PhD between 2012-2015 on domain of Public Health/Epidemiology in Medical School of University of Crete. He’s been working in Department of Social Medicine, in Medical School of University of Crete since 1998, teaching Biostatistics in under & postgraduate students of Medical School as well as supported and participated in 180 publications in the fields of epidemiology, public health, behavioral risk factors, football injuries & rehabilitation, chronic diseases, health care, Cretan traditional diet, fasting rituals, health behavior etc., with 2049 citations an and h-index 25.
