Prof. Stefania Toselli is Full Professor at the Department for Life Quality Studies, University of Bologna. She completed her PhD in Anthropological Science at the University of Bologna in 1993. Her research interests include human biology and anthropometry, with a focus on the study of contemporary populations—particularly body composition and fat distribution, hydration status, and body image perception—across different age groups, sexes, physical activity levels, and lifestyles. Her work specifically addresses issues related to growth, ageing, kinanthropometry, human body composition evaluation, and bio-cultural diversity in today’s multiethnic societies.
