Alex Victor Orădan is an attending plastic and reconstructive surgeon at “Ion Chiricuță” Institute of Oncology and at the Emergency County Hospital in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. He earned an MD (2018) and PhD (2024) from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy "Iuliu Hatieganu" in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. He was also a Chang Gung Memorial Hospital Microsurgery Fellow between 2022 and 2023 in Taiwan and now focuses on head&neck microsurgical reconstruction, breast reconstruction, lymphedema and finger replantation. His work in the field of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Microsurgery, and Microsurgery Training has resulted in numerous publications, presentations, lectures, and courses for Microsurgery; memberships, including the World Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery, Honorary member of the Romanian Students' Society for Surgery; and awards in Microvascular Anastomosis and Anatomy contests. His research interests include Microsurgery, Head and Neck reconstructive microsurgery, finger replantation, lymphedema supermicrosurgery, microsurgical training, and breast surgery.
