Dr. Kaixiong Tao

Dr. Kaixiong  Tao is currently the director of the Department of General Surgery and the Department of Gastrointestinal Surgery of Union Hospital affiliated with Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, deputy director of the Minimally Invasive Surgery Clinical Research Center of Hubei Province, deputy director of the Institute of Digestive Diseases of Union Hospital, director of Johnson & Johnson Wuhan Union Minimally Invasive Surgery Training Center; chief surgical expert of the multidisciplinary (MDT) diagnosis and treatment team of gastrointestinal tumors of Wuhan Union Hospital. His research mainly focuses on Clinical application research and promotion of standardized, minimally invasive, and radical resection of gastrointestinal tumors, and he is an expert in the comprehensive treatment of patients with gastric cancer, colon cancer, and rectal cancer at different stages of the disease
