Dr. Nelson Carriço

Nelson Carriço is an Adjunct Professor at Instituto Politécnico de Setúbal and a Visiting Adjunct Professor at Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Lisboa (ISEL). He has a five-year degree in Water Resources Engineering from the University of Évora, a master’s degree in Hydraulics and Water Resources, and a doctorate in Civil Engineering both from the Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), from the University of Lisbon. He spent 5 years as a consultant and designer in urban hydraulic engineering, was a research fellow at the IST for 5 years, and has been teaching courses related to urban hydraulics since 2012.
