MONTSERRAT PALLARES‐BARBERA (http://orcid.org/0000‐0002‐1595‐3248) is a Full Professor at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). Geography Department. Ph.D. in Economic Geography and Location Theory at Boston University. Currently, her research focuses in the intersection between Urban Geography, Geographic Information Systems and Social Well Being. She is now involved in the study of the relation between urban planning and social wellbeing. She usually teaches Local Development, Economic Geography and Spatial Analysis at graduate and undergraduate courses.
