Ian McChesney is a Senior Lecturer in Computing Science. His first degree is in computer science and he has a PhD in software engineering. He is also a Member of The British Computer Society, a Chartered Engineer and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. He has over thirty years of experience in the computing industry and higher education through teaching, curriculum development, research and technology transfer with industry. His research interests are in the areas of software engineering teamwork and computer science education.
