Angela Caponnetto is a PhD student at the Department of Biomedical and Biotechnological Sciences of University of Catania. She works in the research group of Prof. Cinzia Di Pietro, where she studies the expression patterns of noncoding RNAs in ovarian follicles, in cumulus cells, and in blastocoel fluid; their association with oocyte and embryo quality; and their correlation with reproductive aging in order to understand their biological roles in female gametogenesis and preimplantation embryo.
