Silvia Carlos is an Associate Professor at the Department of Preventive Medicine and Public Health, University of Navarra, Pamplona, Spain. She received her Degree in Pharmacy from the University of Navarra (2001) and earned her Ph.D. at the University of Granada (2007). She specialized in Clinical Microbiology and Parasitology at San Cecilio University Hospital, Granada (2002–2006). She has served as Vice-Dean of the School of Pharmacy and Nutrition of the University of Navarra (2019-2022). Her research interests include the prevention of infectious diseases in low and middle income countries, together with the preventive role of the Mediterranean diet.
