Prof. Rita Cortesi graduated in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology and earned a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences at Ferrara University. She attended an HMC post-doc fellowship at the Pharmaceutical Sciences Department of Nottingham University in 1995 and stayed at Ferrara University as an assistant professor until 2008, when she became an associate professor. In 2014, she obtained the qualification role of Full Professor of Pharmaceutical Technology. Her work focuses on pharmaceutical nanotechnology strategies and the use of natural antioxidant molecules for cosmetic applications.
