Jaymie R. Meliker received a B.A. in Neuroscience from Oberlin College, in 1996, an M.S. and Ph.D. from the University of Michigan School of Public Health in 2001 and 2006, respectively. His research interests mainly focus on Environmental Health, Environmental Epidemiology, and Human Exposure Assessment. He is a Professor in the Program in Public Health and Department of Family, Population, and Preventive Medicine at Stony Brook University. He has served as an elected councilor for the International Society of Exposure Science, as an appointed member of the EPA Chemical Safety Advisory Committee, and is an inductee in the Delta Omega Honorary Society in Public Health.
