Guozhang Kang studied at the College of Agriculture, Henan University of Science and Technology from 1991 to 1994. He obtained his Master’s degree from Henan Agricultural University from 1997 to 2000 and his Ph.D. degree from the South China National Botanical Garden, Chinese Academy of Sciences, from 2000 to 2003. Since 2003, he has been working at the National Engineering Research Center for Wheat / College of Agriculture, Henan Agricultural University. He served as Assistant Researcher from 2003 to 2006, Postdoctoral Fellow from 2004 to 2007, Associate Researcher from 2007 to 2014, and has been a Researcher since 2014. He conducted cooperative research at the Institute of Genetics and Developmental Biology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, from 2010 to 2011. He was a Distinguished Professor of Henan Province from 2016 to 2022 and has been a Distinguished Talent of Henan Agricultural University since 2017.
