Dr. Yong Xiao, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Hydrology and Hydrogeology at the Faculty of Geosciences and Engineering, Southwest Jiaotong University. He holds a degree in Hydrogeology from the China University of Geosciences (Beijing). He employs a wide range of tools including field investigations, numerical modeling, and hydrogeochemical and isotopic tracers to understand the complex behavior and processes of both natural and human-driven groundwater systems.
