Zhang Zhanlong (Member, IEEE) received B.Eng., M.Eng., and Ph.D. degrees from the School of Electrical Engineering, Chongqing University, Chongqing, China, in 1993, 2000, and 2004, respectively. He was a Post-Doctoral Researcher with the School of Biomedical Engineering, Chongqing University, in 2007. He was a Visiting Scholar at the College of Information and Electrical Engineering, Queensland University, Brisbane, QLD, Australia, in 2012. Since 2016, he has been a professor with the College of Electrical Engineering, Chongqing University. He has obtained 28 granted invention patents and published over 80 academic articles. His research interests include digital twin technology, numerical analysis and calculation, fault monitoring, electrical intelligent information processing, energy saving and loss reduction, grounding technology, and corrosion diagnosis. Dr. Zhang is a member of the China Electrical Engineering Society, the China Electrotechnical Society, the International Electromagnetic Computing Society, the International Electromagnetic Field Society, and the IEEE Society. He is the Director of the IEEE PES DC Transmission and Transformation Equipment Technical Subcommittee and the Vice Chair of the IEEE PC57.12.200 Working Group.
