He Graduated from Southern China Agriculture University, China, in 1984 and received a PhD from Nagoya University, Japan, in 1991. After his research career at RIKEN, Japan, he joined Morinaga Milk Industry in 1995. He has carried out many projects in the basic and functional research and product application of human gut microbiota and Bifidobacterium and has published over 150 articles in this area.
