In this paper, we propose and study a multi-step iterative algorithm that comprises of a finite family of asymptotically $ k_i $-strictly pseudocontractive mappings with respect to $ p, $ and a $ p $-resolvent operator associated with a proper convex and lower semicontinuous function in a $ p $-uniformly convex metric space. Also, we establish the $ \Delta $-convergence of the proposed algorithm to a common fixed point of finite family of asymptotically $ k_i $-strictly pseudocontractive mappings which is also a minimizer of a proper convex and lower semicontinuous function. Furthermore, nontrivial numerical examples of our algorithm are given to show its applicability. Our results complement a host of recent results in literature.
Our main interest in this article is to introduce and study the class of θ-generalized demimetric mappings in Hadamard spaces. Also, a Halpern-type proximal point algorithm comprising this class of mappings and resolvents of monotone operators is proposed, and we prove that it converges strongly to a fixed point of a θ-generalized demimetric mapping and a common zero of a finite family of monotone operators in a Hadamard space. Furthermore, we apply the obtained results to solve a finite family of convex minimization problems, variational inequality problems and convex feasibility problems in Hadamard spaces.

The class of quasimonotone mappings are known to be more general and applicable than the classes of pseudomonotone and monotone mappings. However, only very few results can be found in the literature on quasimonotone variational inequality problems and most of these results are on weak convergent algorithms. In this paper, we study the quasimonotone variational inequality problem (VIP) with constraint of fixed point problem (FPP) of quasi-pseudocontractive mappings. We introduce a new inertial Tseng’s extragradient method with self-adaptive step size for approximating the minimum-norm solutions of the aforementioned problem in the framework of Hilbert spaces. We prove that the sequence generated by the proposed method converges strongly to a common (minimum-norm) solution of the quasimonotone VIP and FPP of quasi-pseudocontractive mappings without the knowledge of the Lipschitz constant of the cost operator. We provide several numerical experiments for the proposed method in comparison with existing methods in the literature. Finally, we applied our result to image restoration problem. Our result improves, extends and generalizes several of the recently announced results in this direction.

In the literature, several methods have been proposed for solving the split variational inequality problems and most of these methods require that the underlying operators are co-coercive while some of them require that the problem is transformed into a product space. These restrictive conditions affect the feasibility of these existing methods. In order to overcome these setbacks, we propose two new inertial projection and contraction methods for solving the split variational inequality problem in real Hilbert spaces without the co-coercive condition and without the product space formulation, which does not fully exploit the attractive splitting structure of the split variational inequality problem. The sequences generated by these methods converge strongly to the solution of the split varitional inequality problems in real Hilbert spaces under the assumptions that the operators are pseudomonotone, Lipschitz continuous and without the sequentially weakly continuity condition. Furthermore, we present several numerical experiments for the proposed methods and compare their performance with other related methods in the literature.
