Amaury Pérez Martínez obtained his BS and PhD degrees, both in Chemical Engineering, from the Universidad de Camaguey in 2002 and 2013, respectively. He currently works in the Agro-Industrial School of the Universidad Estatal Amazonica. His work in agro-industry and chemical engineering has resulted in a number of publications, presentations, lectures, and courses. His research interests include agro-industrial development, process design and simulation, and the sustainable development of agro-industrial processes and chemical processes.
